I'm still on an indefinite hiatus, for which I sincerely apologize, but at least I'm alive. So... what's going on? Is there anything I really need to read, like, now?

Incidentally, I don't really know how to feel about Yanagi's behavior (towards Kirihara) in the most recent chapters. Kirihara will probably accept it and move on, and I still like Yanagi a lot, but I'm afraid I won't be able to ship them anymore. It just doesn't feel right to me. Nah. Atobe is a better sempai for Hiyoshi. Or maybe I'm just too sensitive.

Boy, do I hate getting yelled at.

According to some rumors, Akira Amano has an impressive Yamamoto x Gokudera doujinshi collection. It really is a shame that I'm not Akira Amano. Naturally, there's no way for me to prove it, but the idea is so amusing and... not impossible to imagine.

Katekyo Hitman Reborn #255, again: damn, like I've said, Chrome is way too adorable for her own good. I want to take her home. It's a pity that I don't trust Mukuro enough to pair them up (and feel entirely okay about it), because they're awfully pretty together. Chrome makes me feel kinda... protective, perhaps unnecessarily so. Yet I don't mind seeing her with people like Hibari for some reason.

Katekyo Hitman Reborn #255: ( Spoilers! )

I really like this mini-essay about Itachi. I especially agree with the first part, and it pretty much explains why I'm not an Itachi fan anymore. My relationships with manga characters rarely change in such radical ways, but... yeah. I liked Itachi more back when he was a plain old sociopath. Now he's a martyr with reasons and motivations, and, erm, I kinda hate his reasons. Thankfully, I still have Kisame, who's a delightful bastard; oddly enough, his sadism doesn't squick me the way Itachi's choices do.

I've started watching Inukami!. It's not terribly unique, it seems to be a fairly generic harem anime with supernatural elements and tons of fanservice (for guys), but, um. You see, folks, I have this unwritten AU story in which Teru from Death Note is an inugami (in case you wonder, he was canonically born in 1982, the year of the Dog, much to my silly geeky delight) and Raito is his owner; in other words, I have a thing for this mythological concept. The best part is that in Inukami!, dog spirits are supposed to fight evil and proliferate righteousness, which... is basically what Teru does (in his own warped way, yes), so the similarity is definitely there! At least I totally see it! I'm... good at seeing random weird things! Heck, the main inugami girl even has green hair and red eyes. I don't even ship Raito x Teru anymore because Raito doesn't deserve the lovely prosecutor, but the idea is too amusing. And Inukami! is actually kinda funny sometimes, and the animation is very cute.

...Konomi's special beach chapter is, uh. Quite an interesting piece of manga art. It's nice to know that Atobe is not above silly pranks (and he pulls one on Yukimura, of all people).
